You will need…

  • A roll of clear d-c-fix®
  • A d-c-fix® application kit containing a smoother and a cutting knife

  • Scissors
  • A pencil

Let’s go

Step 1

Open the book and lie it on the film backing paper. Leave enough space around the edge.

Step 2

Cut the film to size around the book. You should include an excess of at least 2 cm.

Step 3

Remove the backing paper from the transparent film.

Step 4

Carefully place the book on the adhesive side of the film, taking care to ensure that there are no air bubbles. Use the smoother to smooth out the film and remove any bubbles.

Step 5

Make two diagonal cuts in the film at the corners and at the top/bottom of the spine.

Step 6

Now fold the sides in and smooth the film out.
