This year, why not put up a Christmas tree that takes up no space and has no needles?

Project from Chris -

We have the perfect solution for anyone looking for a Christmas tree that takes up no space and has no needles. With our d-c-fix® adhesive foil, this year you can attach a fir tree to your front door. You can quickly and easily create a real work of art with this beautiful Christmas tree, which is characterized by its minimalist, geometric shapes.

Project description for your truly special Christmas tree

You will need…

  • A roll of d-c-fix® plain matte green
  • A roll of d-c-fix® plain matte brown
  • Different colored rolls of d-c-fix® adhesive film

  • d-c-fix® application set with smoother and cutter
  • Scissors
  • A measuring tape
  • A pencil

Let’s go

Step 1

Measure the area on which you want to apply the adhesive film.

Step 2

On the backing paper of the d-c-fix® plain matte green decorative film, sketch a triangle – the tree – so that it is two-thirds the height of the door and a slightly smaller rectangle – the trunk – on the back of the d-c-fix® plain matte brown adhesive foil.

Step 3

Cut out the shapes, pull the backing paper off the film in one piece and stick the film to the door, smoothing it down with the smoother.

Step 4

Cut out shapes like Christmas baubles, stars and presents from the pieces of d-c-fix® adhesive foil. Now give free rein to your imagination as you design and decorate your Christmas tree.

You’re done!
