Project description to make your workplace unique
- A roll of d-c-fix® romeo adhesive film
- A d-c-fix® application kit containing a smoother and a cutting knife
- Scissors
- A pencil
- A measuring tape
Let’s go
Step 1
Make sure you have all the materials you need to hand.
Step 2
Measure the area of the desk on which you want to apply the adhesive film.
Step 3
Use a pencil to transfer the dimensions onto the backing paper of the decorative film. Cut out the film, not forgetting to include a little excess.
Step 4
Then detach a piece of the backing paper from the film and attach it to one edge of the desk. Use the smoother to smooth down the film, working your way from the inside out.
Step 5
When the top of the desk is completely covered, use a pair of scissors to cut into the film at the desk edges, fold down the film over the edges and use the smoother to smooth it flat.
Step 6
Use the cutting knife to cut off any excess film along the edges of the desk top.

EXPERT ADVICE
Don’t remove too much of the backing paper at once when you attach the film. This will allow you to use the film smoother to press against the exposed area slowly and firmly – without forming any air bubbles.
