And that’s what we’ll show you with this great DIY, with which you can magically create a special kind of Christmas decoration: and that is a chic Christmas tree in a wooden look decorated with ornaments, which, as a decorative shelf, provides you with pretty and practical services during the Christmas season. And two things are certain here: a Christmas tree has never been more practical and your Christmas decorations have never been more unique! d-c-fix® metallic foil glitter red
d-c-fix® metallic foil glitter green

Glued wood panels

Let’s go

Step 1

First, draw the outline of your Christmas tree on the wooden board.

Step 2

Then, cut out your tree silhouette with the help of a jigsaw.

Step 3

Next, place your cut Christmas tree shape on the back of the d-c-fix® Pino Aurelio foil and transfer the outline onto the back of the paper with a pencil.

Step 4

Then you cut out the piece of tree foil and glue it to the wooden board with the help of the scraper.

Step 5

Carefully cut off any foil that protrudes from the edges with a cutter knife.

Step 6

Now you prepare the shelves: Cut them to the size you want and match the base plate of the Christmas tree and then cover the floors with the d/c-fix® Pino Aurelio foil.

Then you attach the shelf plates to the Christmas tree base plate with screws.

Step 7

Now it’s time to decorate: Cut out circles of different sizes from the colorful glitter foils and stick them on the Christmas tree as “ornament” tree decorations. Your atmospheric Christmas tree decoration shelf is ready!
