That DIY Vacation Feeling: Starfish for Your Shower

Transform your bath into a maritime-themed wellness oasis and give your shower a hint of that vacation feeling by the sea. How? Simply make these attractive starfish using d-c-fix® Transparent Opal adhesive foil and stick them to your glass shower enclosure – or even your bathroom window and mirror. We’ll show you how to bring such appealing marine life into your bathroom with our DIY starfish for bathrooms!

You will need…

  • A roll of d-c-fix® Transparent Opal
  • d-c-fix® tool kit with doctor blade and cutting knife
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Cardboard

Let’s go

Step 1

First, draw the outline of a starfish on the cardboard using the pencil – then cut it out to use as a stencil.

Step 2

Now, using your starfish stencil, draw as many starfish as you need on the backing paper of the film before cutting these out.

Step 3

Then, remove the backing paper from the first starfish, place it on the glass pane of your shower enclosure, then press it down firmly. Arrange your starfish any way you like.

Step 4

During application, use the soft side of your squeegee to ensure a particularly good grip – this is ideal for attaching the starfish from the film.
