Summer is finally here, and you enjoy letting the sun shine into your home or relaxing looking out the window. But you’re also aware that nosy neighbors or passers-by might peer into your home. In short: You want more privacy and a simple solution so that no one can peek into your life without being asked? Then you should go for bamboo now! You will need …

  • d-c-fix® static Bamboo
  • Pencil
  • Measuring tape
  • Ruler

  • Utility knife
  • Smoothing blade
  • Spray bottle with water

Let’s go

Step 1

To be able to cut the foil exactly, determine the dimensions of the windows or partial areas that you want to make opaque.

Step 2

Now cut the window foil to size with the utility knife.

Step 3

Spray the window surface generously with water.

Step 4

Remove part of the backing paper of the adhesive foil.

Step 5

Apply the window foil to the window.

Step 6

Use the scraper to press out the excess water between the foil and the glass.

You’re done!
