Breathe life into your old furniture in just 6 steps.

Project from Eva -

In addition to new furniture, you can also beautify old furniture with our adhesive films by d-c-fix®. Our films make it very easy to cover scratches or damaged areas and give your furniture a unique look.

You will need…

  • Two rolls of Manhattan adhesive film by d-c-fix®
  • Film squeegee and cutter from the d-c-fix® film application set
  • An old chest of drawers

  • Pencil
  • Scissors

Let’s go

Step 1

Prepare the necessary tools and sand off any major unevenness somewhat.

Step 2

Clean the chest of drawers with a cloth in order to remove possible remnants and thus guarantee a more uniform application of the film.

Step 3

Measure the parts of the chest of drawers to be covered and cut the respective pieces of film to size. Leave a little extra on all sides, so that the pieces of film are always sufficient.

Step 4

Now, pull off approximately 10 cm of the backer paper and start to apply the d-c-fix® film to your chest of drawers at an edge.

Step 5

Measure the parts of the chest of drawers to be covered and cut the respective pieces of film to size. Leave a little extra on all sides, so that the pieces of film are always sufficient.

Step 6

At the end, the excess pieces of film are cut off with the cutter.

You’re done!
