String of hearts covered with various films

Be my Valentine: say I love you in a different way!

Project from Cintia -

Be my Valentine – on February 14 it’s all about love once again. Traditionally, roses and love letters were sent on Valentine’s Day, but we think that’s too easy, which is why we’ve created the Valentine’s Day 2.0 greeting for you in the form of a string of hearts and photos. What you need for this romantic DIY and confession of your love? Cardboard, string, wooden clips and the d-c-fix® adhesive films “Uni Matt Ash Rose,” “Uni Matt bordeaux” and “Uni Gloss magenta.” Find out the rest in the DIY tutorial:

Romantic DIY string of hearts

Preparation

You have everything you need? Then get started!

Step 1

Cut the “Uni Matt bordeaux” film roughly to the size of the cardboard along a ruler using a utility knife. Place the cardboard on the table, remove the backing paper from the film and smooth down the film onto the cardboard.

Step 2

Turn the cardboard over and draw several hearts on the side of the cardboard using a pencil.

Step 3

Cut out the hearts using scissors.

Step 4

Draw smaller hearts on the back of the “magenta,” “Ash Rose” and “bordeaux” films, cut them out and smooth the hearts onto “Uni Matt bordeaux.”

Step 5

Hearts are attached to string using a wooden clip. Continue along the entire string, alternating between hearts and photos.

You’re done!
